Estimating Department
We are seeking several experienced Estimators for both our Steel Manufacturing projects and for our on-site construction works.
Successful candidates will be required to prepare complete costs for Structural Steel low rise buildings using our specialised design and estimating software.
The position will involve establishing client’s needs, compile and prepare accurate estimates for prospective jobs and working alongside the sales and production teams to streamline all aspects of the projects. This is a career based position for an individual wanting stable employment and future growth opportunities working in a friendly and team oriented environment. Training will be provided for the right candidates. Remuneration will be at competitive rates and commensurate to skills and experience.
Engineering and Drafting Department
As part of our operations, RIMCO provides design and construction services in Engineering and Structural Steel Manufacturing Fields. RIMCO takes full responsibility for the structural engineering design with the aid of several world class specialist design and management software programs. Several positions are available for our busy in-house drafting department.
• DRAFTING / ENGINEERING MANAGER
This Engineer will need to have the following as prerequisites:
- A structural Engineering degree.
- 5 years minimum experience in Structural Steel Engineering and/or detailing
- Excellent communication and process control skills
- Enjoy to work in a busy, challenging team environment
- Self motivated.
• ENGINEERING DRAFTSPERSON
The successful candidate for this position will be engaged in structural and civil drafting and hold the following qualifications:
- Hold a Cadetship or graduate degree in Engineering.
- Will involve detailing of structural and civil drawings for large industrial and commercial steel structures.
- Enjoy working in a busy, challenging team environment.
- Should have a minimum of 2 years experience
• DRAFTING
Must be experienced in advanced steel detailing software and those experienced in the steel manufacturing industry will have a strong advantage. Experience is needed in using Bocad, Autocad and/or X-Steel and ability to adapt to new programs is also essential. Australian and international applicants welcome.

RGC (RIMCO Construction Group) Builders is the Construction division of the Rolle Industries Group of Companies. Based on the Gold Coast, this company also has several large contracts in place and requires people in the following areas:
• PROJECT MANAGER/ CONSTRUCTION FOREMAN - BUILDING
To ensure the proper construction of large steel framed buildings and construction works.
Successful candidate will have the following attributes:
- Experience in carpentry, concrete and steel construction.
- Capable of reading detailed construction drawings
- Working to set programs and supervising men.
- Quality assurance on site,
- Workplace health and safety on-site,
- Must have appropriate licenses
- Must be computer literate, and
- Maintain contract conditions and follow program schedules.
• PROJECT MANAGER/ CONSTRUCTION FOREMAN - STEEL ERECTION:
To ensure the proper construction of large steel framed buildings. Must be able to adhere to and manage:
- On-site Riggers,
- Quality assurance on-site,
- Workplace health and safety on-site,
- Be computer literate, and
- Maintain contract conditions and follow program schedules.
